He was sixty years old, and she bore Segub to him.22Segub fathered Jair, and he had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.23Geshur and Aram took Havvoth-jair from them, along with Kenath and its villages—sixty cities. All these were sons of Machir, father of Gilead.24After Hezron's death in Caleb Ephrathah, Abijah, Hezron's wife, bore him Ashhur, the father of Tekoa.25The sons of Jerahmeel, the firstborn of Hezron, were Ram, Bunah, Oren, Ezem, and Ahijah.26Jerahmeel had another wife named Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.27The sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were Maaz, Jamin, and Akar.28The sons of Jerahmeel: Shema and Jada. The sons of Shema: Nadab and Abishur.29Abishur's wife was Abihail, and she bore him Ahban and Molid.30The sons of Nadab were Seled and Appaim, but Seled died without having any sons.31The sons of Apaim: Yisheyi. The sons of Yisheyi: Sheshan. The sons of Sheshan: Achlai.32The sons of Yadaʿ, the brother of Shami—Yeter and Jonathan—and Yeter died with no sons.33The sons of Jonathan were Pelat and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.34Sheshan had no sons, but daughters.
